It’s the second installment of our trip to Disneyland! I’ll follow the same premise as last time, lots of photos and not so many words. So let’s jump right into some fun photos and unexpected (who made me creepily excited) guests! To start you off, Disney California Adventure!
Cars Land was SO much fun, but I don’t know that I’d wait an hour + for the Radiator Racers again.

CARS LAND FOOD IN A CONE TIME
We moseyed over to the Animation building and got to draw Zero since it was the
terrible time of Nightmare Before Christmas (which makes no sense but ok whatever)
And then we took another shadow photo of us, which we also did on a trip to Asheville.
I miss you too, what will soon be Pixar Pier 🙄 🙄 🙄
Time for Carthay Circle! That food was DELICIOUS and the interior (and booth) made us very happy.
This was a drive-by photo of Walt & Mickey. Shoutout to my teeny camera for focusing so quickly in really dark lighting.
The next day it was time for the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps Tour! It was awesome – we got to ride some different rides, have lunch, get a surprise, and tour the Dream Suite. Where I touched more of the suite than I was probably allowed to.
Us + Mary Blair dress + Dream Suite = 😍
I was really excited about this doorbell
Eventually (is it bad that I can’t remember which day this was?) we went to the Halloween party over at Disneyland! I went as a semi-fifties Cinderella and Andrew went as chimney sweep Bert. We’ll be getting to the unexpected guests in this part! Yay!!
I just…have no idea what Andrew did with that first photo. He even says he didn’t move it? My camera was apparently possessed.
To jump ahead, this was Andrew and I’s costumes at the end of the night. I was not trying to be mysterious, my feet just hurt overly badly. Fake glass slippers are not my friend.
NEW ORLEANS SQUARE IS THE BEST PLACE IN DISNEYLAND DON’T @ ME
So there was a halloween party inside the party (partyception) that we’d considered getting tickets for but away too much $$ and I will regret it forever. I was hanging around Blue Bayou and then Constance/The Bride came over and made eyes at me/my camera. She’s 👌 👌 👌, jfyi.
AND THEN. THE BEST. THE BESTEST OF THE WORLD AND HAUNTED MANSION…
Bae. I saw her and asked the hostess if she was greeting. “No.” (Cool thanks CM lady) BUT after stalking the area because I’m a freaking nerd the CM asked her to come to the window (probably because I was totally creeping). AND SHE DID AND IT WAS WONDROUS. 😭 I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS and I still can’t fully look at the photos because I’m so amazed it happened.
And there you have it for this installment! In our next we’ll have a photoshoot, LA, the Disneyland Hotel, and leaving 😭 Look for it in just a few weeks!
Wishing you unexpected, nerd-making guests,
PS – Be sure to check out the first installment!
